While Key Largo is justifiably renowned as the dive capital of the world, the best-kept secret on this first island of the Florida Keys is its thriving arts and entertainment community.
Artists create gorgeous memories of the Keys in every medium for display in local galleries. Potters fashion unusual glazes that evoke the incredible hues of backcountry and offshore waters, and add them to the shapes of shells, platters adorned with fish and much more.
Fine-art, portrait and underwater photographers are among the best in the world at capturing the very essence of Key Largo and the Florida Keys. See how they've captured the awe-inspiring beauty of Everglades National Park, the aquatic wonders of John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, our outstanding artificial and natural coral reefs, our amazing sunsets and the abundant, irreplaceable flora found in the continent's last remaining stand of tropical hardwood hammock.
Jewelers design unique bracelets, earrings, charms, pendants and necklaces that have a nautical flair. Anglers can immortalize their most memorable catches with eye-catching jewelry that will last for many years to come.
When it comes to performing artists, we've got them all! From concert associations offering free musical happenings to community and professional theater groups to dance companies, our performers will keep you spell-bound...or laughing at their comedic antics.
We even have interior designers who are dedicated to making your home or business the most attractive, relaxing spaces they can be.
Not sure what to do with the kids? Our art supply store has plentiful arts and crafts supplies that will keep even the most active child engrossed while the family relaxes after a great day of outdoor activities.
And speaking of kids — we've even got a mobile petting zoo in Key Largo! Throw a party for the little ones and watch their faces glow with delight.
So when you find yourself looking for a relaxing, intriguing alternative to a day enjoying nature, consider any of these fine arts and entertainment opportunities. You won't be sorry you did!

The Stacie Krupa Studio Gallery of Art is located at mile marker 82.9 on the Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys. This SoHo-style gallery is as unique as the work it contains and the artist who creates it. The gallery entrance sets the stage for the experience inside. A sign on the highway let's you know if the "Artist is In" or if she is "Following a Creative Impulse". A small garden out front is filled with quotes about life and art and starts the transition into Krupa's world. When you enter the actual gallery, there is no doubt that Krupa is a unique creative, bold and "in-your-face" talent. Every inch of wall space and most of the floor space is covered with bold, expressionistic original works of art depicting Krupa's vision of her environment. The first word that is often heard from visitors, who come from all over the world, is "WOW!". This is a place to smell fresh paint, see art created and buy collectable originals that warrant repeated viewing.
